Project Details

Project Description:

Police Commissioner Office of Aurangabad had adopted a village which they identified as one of the localities to be monitored closely in order to establish a required order. As a part of this program a central community open space was developed which consisted of a community hall for the people staying in the adjacent slums. The design of the hall aims at celebrating the joy of being together in harmony. It expresses the joy and freedom through its form and particularly the graphics, drawn by the identified artists staying in the same slums. It helps them participate in the process of making a building and develop a sense of belonging.
