Project Description:
This is a building designed for arts and science college. Its site is a long narrow rectangle with its inclined shorter side abutting a highway facing south side. In response to the site the front administrative block of the building is twisted. This offers an interesting view of the entire building from the street. The external facade of the building is designed to wear a loadbearing look holding firmly to the ground. This is further enhanced by an appropriate use of textured plaster along with stone dust paint. Internally the building is well lit with the help of natural light. Built in year 2002 the building appears very pleasant due to appropriate architectural language and choice of external material.
