Project Details

Project Description:

This is a house in a small town, located on the outskirts. The house is designed for a family of 6-8 persons. The owners wished their house to have few elements of an old traditional house in the region where they originally belonged to. Their traditional house had elements such as open courtyard, many scattered sit outs, good and bright light in the house, leveled terraces, partially cladded with basalt stone from outside, thick walls. The new house demonstrates appropriate use of such traditional elements of a house.
